The FIJI Boat Ministry — special offering October 18, 2009
The Church of the Nazarene has three JESUS Film teams showing the film, discipling, and
planting churches in the South Pacific. The teams travel between the islands of Fiji, Tonga, and
Western Samoa. These teams travel from island to island using the GALILEAN or the “FIJI
Boat.” As of November 1, 2002, these three teams have shown the JESUS film to 34,574
people, 6,800 have indicated a decision for Christ (19.7% of viewers), and 4,195 are initial
discipleship contacts (61.7% of decisions).
